Shaft sealing is achieved with the single or double acting mechanical seal developed by WAB or with a special lip seal. The compact design of this unique mechanical seal permits easy and rapid replacement. The rinsing system of the shaft seal employs a rinsing liquid compatible liquid and applied in a closed circuit comprising feed pump and reservoir. Before their delivery, the double mechanical seals are always checked on leaks and quality which guarantees the reliability of the WAB seals. In addition to simple maintenance, the mechanical seals can be sent back to WAB for reconditioning. The seal subsequently is subjected to the WAB standard quality test. In this way, our customers can obtain the optimum benefit and reduce maintenance costs considerably.
